Curriculum Developer & Ed Consultant 

Dr. Scott holds graduate degrees in Training & Development and Organizational Leadership and Behavior and a Certificate in Teaching English as a Second Language. She also holds a graduate certificate in Instructional Design. 

Dr. Scott’s academic and professional experiences provide her with a multi-faceted, systems thinking lens to engage at the strategic and tactical levels of teaching and learning. Her dissertation work focuses on developing and testing critical thinking skills and the identification of effective practices in formative and summative assessment. 

In response to the global pandemic, Dr. Scott spearheaded a 2-day virtual symposium titled “21st Century Teaching and Learning in Trinidad & Tobago”. Dr. Scott continues to collaborate with teachers, principals, and parents to: 

  • Identify and design remediation strategies to combat learning loss.

  • Strengthen parent partnering in the learning triangle. 

  • Deliver professional development for teachers & administrators.

  • Assess reading skills and readiness with an emphasis on strengthening comprehension skills.

  • Evaluate lesson plans, test documents, and grading practices.
